Land Rover Salvage

Land Rover is an all-terrain vehicle and Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) manufacturer, based in Solihull, England, now operated as part of the Jaguar Land Rover business owned by Tata Motors. Originally the term Land Rover referred to one specific vehicle, a pioneering civilian all-terrain utility vehicle launched on April 30, 1948, at the Amsterdam Motor Show, but was later used as a brand for several distinct models, all capable of four-wheel drive.

Land Rover is one of the longest lived Four-wheel drive (4WD) brands, second only to Jeep. The Series IIA is considered by many the most hardy Series model constructed, and people remember and love it from its many appearances in popular films and television documentaries set in Africa throughout the 1960s, such as Born Free.
